Island ExcitementCover Art: “Tropic Travels” By Scott Westmoreland It was fun composing and arranging this rather unusual Caribbean music. YesteryearThis unique music brings back memories of the Caribbean from long ago. Island PathThese beautiful songs from the Caribbean are rhythmic and exciting. The music will surely make you move your feet and make you want to dance. You will even hum and maybe put your thoughts of words to your singing. It is great music to listen to in your car or boat. Island WavesTo me, there is no music that compares to that from the Caribbean. There is no way I can sit it out and just watch. My feet start moving and I invite my partner to come dance with me. Dreams come from these episodes that you remember for the rest of your life. If you have not experienced this, you really have to give it a try. You won’t regret it. Island SerenityThis CD is very interesting because of its many styles of popular music of the Caribbean. Even in the musical introduction, the songs very quickly get to the main theme. This allows them to be a bit shorter, but very specific. This made me very excited and enthused about composing and arranging each song. You will enjoy the beauty and excitement as well. Cover Art: “Sanibel Sunrise” by Dennis Goodman

Purple CloudsThis beautiful music comes from a lot of great memories while sailing around the Caribbean. The song sounds reflect the wonderful and rhythmic feelings of the folks who live in these places. We would have interesting discussions long after the bars were closed, because we felt the same way about many things. It was very difficult to sail away. Enjoy! Great FeelingsThese songs brought out their “beauty” very quickly, so their time lengths are a bit shorter than usual. The orchestra background music is filled with unusual effects and sounds of nature. The solo instruments change back and forth, and all of these effects end up providing extraordinary sounds and beautiful music. The rhythm instruments are also providing special sounds. All of these things brought together provide exceptional music. Enjoy! Cover Art: “Paradise Porch” By Scott Westmoreland

|
Island Sunset SerenadeThese song styles come from experiencing beautiful feelings and music. Most are from islands and countries near the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean. When you have experienced the happiness and love of the people from these locations, you will never forget it, and you will be changed forever. Enjoy! Island VoyagesThe variation in times from memories of long ago to today’s music is really noticeable and highly appreciated in this wonderful CD. This CD is a very interesting variation in music. Enjoy!

Island DelightsThis CD has many music styles that come from beautiful places in and around the Caribbean. Composing and arranging the songs on this CD caused me to feel many emotions. Tears are not just the result of sadness, but are caused by beautiful, deep and exciting situations. The reason for and exposures to the Arts are for the many different feelings we can experience. These feelings come back many times long after the original exposures to exciting and beautiful times in the past and dreams of the future.

Island KayakersThese songs are great for dancing or just moving your feet. I had so much fun composing and arranging this music. Happy tears and constant moving my feet and body kept me going and making happy work of this CD. Our earth is filled with beautiful islands surrounded by sparkling and rising waters. These memories keep me from worrying so much about climate change and cause me to enjoy our incredibly beautiful earth for a while. Please enjoy this CD.

Island Morning GlowThis CD stretches out the areas from which the music styles come to much further than just the Caribbean. However, these far-away styles of music seem to fit nicely. The primary reason is the rhythms are exciting as well. I’m very happy with the results, especially for how well they fit together and actually enhance each other. After listening to this CD, I feel happy and excited. I hope it has that effect on you. The cover art is a painting by Dianna Willman, a well known artist who lives on Pine Island. Dianna is known for capturing the landscape in all its majesty. This scene depicts a beautiful morning on Pine Island.

Island SunriseI love to compose and arrange these styles of music. The beauty and power of the oceans surrounding small fragile lands are slowly disappearing. So, we had better enjoy these beautiful places and friendly people before they are gone, and hopefully moved on to higher grounds. Knowing that all this is slowly but steadily happening causes my music (even though it is happy) to bring tears to my eyes when I put the songs together. Please enjoy and dream and hope for the best.

Island ThoughtsMy experiences in the Caribbean sailing on beautiful waters or enjoying exciting music on shore will never leave me. Composing music from these experiences always takes me back there. Now, when I am composing and arranging the music while looking outside you can tell where my mind is. It is obvious the music is reflecting where the source of the rhythms and feelings come from. This is mostly from deep feelings from living and loving an exciting and beautiful past. I hope you have these feelings from your past so that you can keep enjoying life.

Island SeasideThis incredibly exciting CD is filled with beautiful and very rhythmic Caribbean songs. When you listen to this music, you will be happy and want to go there and experience the colorful and beautiful waters. The people are happy and excited to see you and will try hard to please you. When I was composing and arranging the music for this CD I was in great moods while imagining myself on a Caribbean Island enjoying the beauty of the area.

Island JazzThe music of this CD makes you happy and want to move. I really had great fun and enthusiasm while composing and arranging these songs. Enjoy! Please listen and enjoy.

Island SunsetThis CD is very unique in that it is comprised of Caribbean and New Orleans styles. These places had a close relationship because of their ties to supplies via the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Seas. People could more easily travel back and forth, which further tied these places together … musically and commercially. For me, there is a wonderful correlation between the musical styles. Enjoy! Cover Art: “Red Sunset Green Sea Hawk”

|
Island TidesThis CD is another example of the beautiful music of the Caribbean and surrounding territories such as Brazil. The music came to the Caribbean via the people who moved there from Greece, Spain and other European and African nations who brought their music with them. The Islands expanded this music into happy and very rhythmic songs with beautiful expressiveness. One has to have a feeling of happiness and the desire to dance when listening to their beautiful music. Please listen and enjoy. Cover Art: “Moonlit Waves” by Michael Creese
